EVENT DETAILS: Halloween Festival & Fashion Show Fundraiser


Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for, our 9th Annual Halloween Festival & Fashion Show, October 27th, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm! We are looking forward to seeing everyone dressed up in costume and enjoying all of the activities we are hosting during our event fundraiser.

EVENT DETAILS:

Wristbands for children 18 months and older is required for participation at all activities and booths. (Details about picking up your child’s wristband are located below.) If you have not purchased your wristbands, please buy them now by clicking here. Although adults are not required to purchase wristbands, we are kindly asking that you please donate towards this fundraiser. All proceeds from sales, donations and event sponsors will benefit the Hurricane Harvey & Puerto Rico Disaster Relief Funds. We appreciate any contributions and support towards the families and communities that have been directly affected by these hurricanes.  

The event will start promptly at 6:00pm. We encourage all families to dress up in costume for our popular Red Carpet Fashion Show that will start at 7:00pm.

FOOD & REFRESHMENTS: (PLEASE BRING CASH)

  • Pizza, sodas and water for purchase with CASH ONLY by Papa John’s Pizza.
  • Fried Oreos, Funnel Cakes and Cotton Candy by Home Spun Creations.

TONIGHT’S WEATHER: 

The weather forecast mentions that it will be a chilly night. Since this festival will be hosted outside in our parking lot, please be prepared to bring jackets or simply warmer attire for your children so that they can enjoy the evening festivities.    

ACA PARENTS: (AFTERNOON PICKUP)

Due to event setup, the ACA parking lot will be closed starting at 4:00pm. If you have a child that you will be picking up this afternoon, please be aware that you can park along side Blue Ridge Drive.

CHECK-IN & WRISTBAND PICKUP:

  • You may pick up your reserved wristbands when you arrive to pick up your child.
  • When entering the event, please locate the ACA Booth for Will Call to pick up children’s wristbands. Wristbands will be required for all children ages 18 months and older to participate in all of the activities throughout the festival including the fashion show.
  • If you have not purchased your wristbands, you may still do so by clicking here or at the door

EVENT PARKING:

As you arrive to our event this evening be sure to look for our Event Parking Signs. We will have limited availability in the designated parking lot across the street from Austin Children’s Academy on Blue Ridge Drive. These designated event parking spaces were donated by Jenna’s Asian Kitchen. Please be respectful by not parking in their parking lot as they are reserved for their patrons. Also please do not park at the neighboring business; Ame’s Cleaning has notified us that your vehicle will be subject to be towed at the owner’s expense. If you cannot find parking in the limited assigned areas then please park your car down along Blue Ridge Drive in the Shenandoah neighborhood.  Please make sure not to block any driveways and stay clear of fire lanes, fire hydrants and no parking zones.
