Coding 101 – Java  Unlock your coding power! The Java language is a popular, relevant programming language and a powerful tool to inspire any young techie. In this course you will learn the basics of Java by creating computer games!

Coding 101 – HTML  Coding is in demand and is useful no matter what your ambitions are. Those who know how to speak the languages of the internet will fare well.  In Coding 101 – HTML, learn the bones of HTML syntax, writing, and coding. Get hands on insight regarding the structure of the language which powers the web — and have fun doing so!

PreK Puppet
PreK Puppet Company! This crowd can be quite gifted when it comes to animated puppetry. Make puppets, create a set, and tell stories!  From paper, to socks, to pretend–use storytelling magic and put on a show for all to see!

Indiana Jones
Indiana Jones: I Dig It! Get dirty on this dig!  Discover ancient civilizations and learn about recent discoveries and the fascinating lives of archaeologists!  Make your own frescoes, create your own hieroglyphic messages and much more. At the end of the week use new knowledge and skills to excavate your own archaeological site. Be the next Indiana Jones!

Silly Seuss for PreK  Discover more silly Dr. Seuss! Create Fox in Socks puppets, have a little talk with tweetle beetles, get gooey with oobleck, make paper mache Dr. Seuss hats and more!

Brain Busters
Brain Busters and Puzzlers  Our brains are the most complex organisms on the planet. We love puzzles and embrace challenge. Spend the week solving cryptograms, logic puzzles, and clip clues, or play strategy and trivia games. Build complex origami structures and respond to brain teasers galore. Mentalrobics for everyone!

South American Summer!  Escape to the salt flats of Bolivia, learn the folktales of South America, enjoy the food and speak the language. Become a globetrotting Millennial and learn a little tango too!

Fun With Food!  Yes, it is fun to play with your food! And to make your own lunch for school! Learn how to make your own meals using regular items normally found in the fridge and pantry — without any cooking! Play games, learn more about how to keep yourself healthy, and have fun while doing it. Join our nutritionist from Natural Grocer for a week full of food, fun, and eating!

Painting
Painting with the Masters  Join us for a week of giant canvases and lots of color. Oil sticks, acrylics, and water colors will help you appreciate the elements of art and the unlimited possibilities of an artist.  This class is for everyone…age and skill does not matter.  Find your inner creative!

EcoFashion: Recycled Elegance  Avant garde anyone? Have the fashion bug? Enjoy design thinking? Come create your own line of clothing sans sewing machine! We will use recyclables, fabric remnants, and other techniques to create our own line for the end of week fashion show! Make it work!

Coding 101 – C Programming  Beginning programmers wanted!  The C language is a powerful low-level language that is used to create efficient computer systems. Students will learn the basics of the C language such as syntax and good programming practice!  This is a great building block given its the industry standard.

Espionage
Espionage 101  Your assignment, if you choose to accept it? Recover secret information and return it back to its rightful owner without harming anyone. Solve cryptograms and create steganography. Build spy gadgets and learn to disguise your identity. Saving the world can be fun, and the science behind it all is fascinating! Come join us as we learn about Interpol, M6, and the CIA. Men and women have contributed to the history of this fascinating subculture, find out what it takes for you to be THE spy.

Ahoy, Swashbucklers!  Girls and boys–become all things pirate–hunt for treasure, role play, tell tales, and leave landlubbers behind as you learn the ways of the pirate! Eat pirate snacks, design your own boats, tie knots, make newspaper pirate swords, and walk the plank!

Circus Camp
Circus Camp  Does your child have the performance bug? If so, join us for a week of creative juggling, balloon sculpting, and much more. Performance takes many forms, and these skills actually grow visual spatial and white matter areas of the brain. Come “clown” around with Epic Entertainment!

Altered books
Altered Books & Art Journals  If you’ve never seen an altered book/art journal, you are missing out. This is a great way to turn an old, unused book into a beautiful piece of artwork. Altered books make great gifts or look fabulous on a coffee table! This is creativity at its best. If you’ve never seen one, search altered books in Google images…amazing.

Mosaic
Mosaic Madness!  Craft crazy mosaic projects using paper, glass/ceramic tiles, stones and other recycled materials. Piece together using your own style, and learn how to cover just about anything. Decorate pots, boxes, bottles and other items –all waiting to become your next masterpiece!

Art of Construction
The Art of Construction & Design  Build with newspaper, cardboard, straws, coins and other materials to create bridges, model homes, and buildings. Respond to design briefs and become an architect for a week! Design thinking at its best!

Coding 101 – SCRATCH  SCRATCH is the perfect way to introduce younger students to programming.  It is a creative, interactive and colorful graphic tool which allows beginning coders to build games.  Each student will create a game to share with the class!

African Safari
African Safari  Jambo! Hello! Come “live” in Africa for a week! The continent of Africa is diverse, beautiful and full of stories and traditions. Learn how to communicate when there are lions in the jungle, greet each other in Swahili, and tell the stories of Ananzi and others. Make crafts, masks, and learn about one of the most diverse continents on the planet. Summer safari fun!

pop art- Roy
Pop Art: Roy Lichtenstein  Up close it’s all a bunch of dots! Learn how to combine pointillism, comic books and comic strips, or even your own face, as your inspiration to create large scale contemporary paintings. Learn how to market your work too!

STE(A)M Challenge  STEM is all the rage, but don’t forget the importance of art (A). Caines Arcade
Caine’s Arcade/Rube Golderg Week  Albert Einstein once said,”Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Use your imagination each and every day as we examine how to make simple tasks difficult. It’s funny and fun!  Intentionally over-complicate a simple task, create cardboard contraptions and discover the amazing ideas of a young boy named Caine and an American cartoonist named “Rube”!
