Enrichment Program Overview
Providing a strong Montessori education is our core mission at Austin Children’s Academy. Our goal is to guide and encourage children to embrace a love of learning as they are nurtured in an academically stimulating environment set up just for them.
Why Enrichment?
We offer a variety of recreational extracurricular activities for the “off” hours. This is because play is at the heart of the Montessori philosophy, and vital for physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Play gives children the opportunity to explore freely, relieve stress, and put into action the social and emotional lessons developed in the classroom.

Monday and Wednesday afternoons, 2:45 pm – 4:45 pm
Monday classes start Sept. 9th, and Wednesday classes start Sept. 4th
Anyone who has ever seen a child leap with joy knows that kids instinctively express their emotions not just with words, but also with motion. Kinderdance®, a dance, motor development, and fitness program, has at its core the philosophy that music, dance, and movement can be used as a tool for learning. With the aim of building confidence and self-esteem, the program introduces the joys of ballet, tap, acrobatics and creative movement.
Along with Kinderdance®, we also offer Kindergym®, a floor gymnastics program that emphasizes fun. Using jumping boards, balance beams, octagons, and wedges, kids develop gross motor skills and overall physical fitness while absorbing lessons about colors, numbers, words and shapes.
