CampU Description: Your assignment? Recover secret information and return it back to its rightful owner without harming anyone. Solve cryptograms and create steganography. Build spy gadgets and learn to disguise your identity. Saving the world can be fun, and the science behind it all is fascinating! Come join us as we learn about Interpol, M6, and the CIA. Men and women have contributed to the history of this fascinating subculture, find out what it takes for you to be THE spy.

Meet our CampU Instructor:


Kim Silva
is a kindergarten teacher at Gattis Elementary. Before teaching kinder, she was a paraprofessional and a private tutor. She has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas – San Antonio and was a stay at home mom before pursuing her teaching certification from ACC. She is also fluent in Spanish and has taught Spanish camp through the Risas y Sonrisas program. She loves working with children, especially in a small group setting, and feels passionate about instilling in them a love of learning.
