Inclement Weather Protocols
How is the decision made?
The decision to postpone or cancel classes due to inclement weather is based on analysis of all available information at the time the critical decision to delay or close schools must be made. ACA utilizes multiple resources to make this decision for the safety of our students and staff.
What information and sources are considered?
In addition to monitoring local weather forecasts, Austin Children’s Academy also takes into consideration decisions made by local Independent School Districts such as Round Rock ISD, Leander ISD & Austin ISD for school delays and closures.
